I forgot those, along with a ten win Syracuse and a win against Stanford last year.

I consider wins against Virginia, Virginia Tech, Syracuse, Southern Cal, Stanford, etc many of them ranked teams, as good wins. Sorry.

I have never seen anyone denigrate anyone's 32-6 record before. This is a first.


Your ideas do not seem to be consistent.

First, you say that ND is not very good and its wins not very worthy.

It appears that you don't think that they can be a playoff team as an independent (forgetting last year's 12-0 playoff team).

But, you contend that same program might have a better chance at making the playoffs as an ACC member.

How you expect this turnaround to occur just by joining a conference is never stated.

If ND cannot win big games right now as you indicate, then how would it be able to beat Clemson as a Coastal division champ ??

So, how do you contend that ACC membership will:

1) improve the quality of ND's team;

2) improve ND's strength of schedule and

3) produce a "realistic" shot at a championship, given that you don't think much of ND's ability to do so as an independent?

ND has to win all or all but one of its games to be a playoff contender.

If it doesn't, it won't.

That will be on merit, as a football independent, especially with Clemson and Wisconsin on that schedule.

Not much of a different path than if it were an ACC member, to me.
