The SEC has ten bowl eligible teams. If three receive NY6 games, then VT will play a P5 team as they should. However, if four SEC teams receive NY6 bids (which the SEC does not deserve), there is a high chance that VT will have a G5 opponent in their bowl. Also, if the SEC only gets three NY6 bids and a Big10 team is in the Orange Bowl, VT moves up likely to the Camping World Bowl.
