Some days, the comments leave me cursing at my laptop. Well not really, but sometimes you have to step back, see all that is good.

But this will be an interesting off-season. The bottom line thing that matters is that Virginia Tech football is moving in the right direction. In a couple of years, instead of having a heavily young team, the Hokies will have a very experienced team.

Let the speculation begin whether the '20 team will be QB'd by HH, QP, BB, or KK. Tech should have a great QB battle this spring with multiple guys bringing in their strengths to the competition.

The big question will be who the next defensive coordinator is. I have confident Whit and Fu will make a big hire to replace Bud. It could be a Mike Young type hire, not obvious to the bulletin board QB's, but it will prove the right choice for Virginia Tech.

Let's finish strong, win the bowl game, then do the work to win 10+ games in 2020
