Agreed
Its frankly hilarious how a faction of fans think any former player would be great. Even the ones who have never coached. Ha. Being a college football coach is a skillset. And it takes massive passion and ambition to put in the required hours. What really cracks me up is when someone says a D Hall or a B Flowers, guys who are multimillionaires and used to the good life. Do they want to be working 15 hr days and hitting the road constantly to be in some entitled recruit's living room kissing arse? Very few days off. Not a good fit as a rule.
TG has a decent resume but like you say, no experience at DC. I would consider that a risky hire and I'm not even sure he checks the "all in" on this job box either.
