FIU and FAU are rivals, so historically they would play each

other during "Rivalry Week." FWIW I have noticed several conferences (i.e. AAC, Big XII, C-USA, MAC, and Sun Belt) try to space out their "rivalry games" throughout the season instead of playing them during the final 2 weeks of the regular season. I understand why they do it and I guess it does increase the amount of exposure for those rivalry games. However, I guess I would prefer seeing rivalry games played the final 2 weeks of the regular season. I wouldn't even be opposed to allowing teams to have a "bye week" the week of Thanksgiving.
