Ushuaia is

some place that I haven't been to. I want to. A lot of people here head to tierra del fuego and the torres del paine in chile and love it. I just don't have the money with two kids in college.

I spent 8 weeks in BA...it's ok. i was by myself. my coworkers just did a long weekend there and loved it. I found it filled with sidewalks of dog poop. i also think the beef is better here. there are commercials here about cleaning up after your dog on the argentinean channels.

I live in Asuncion and it is incredibly boring. If you come down, let me know. Paraguay is pretty boring to be honest. Have a lomito...one of the best sandwiches I've had in my travels. The falls are the only real touristy thing to see or do in the country. I've done some travelling with my spanish class. I just do it to get out of the house. Haven't been anywhere I want to go back to. Except Salto Cristal.

I have not been to uruguay. I want to. The beach areas are supposed to be pretty nice.

Ushuaia and tierra del fuego are on my list though. Same with Chile and some stargazing. I do hope to get up to the chaco in northern paraguay just to do it. Bahia negra is on my list. really remote.

Another place in Argentina to look at is Salta. I am hoping to go there. It is a LONG drive from m y house. I might go for a couple of days by myself.
