It not just the coach that can bring Rutsgers up to football respectability

They have elements actively working against the athletic department. If those negative elements can be put back in their "academic boxes," someone can build a winning program there. They have one huge built in advantage, which is a state full of "top tier" Div-1A football talent. The top states are Florida, Texas and California, but would say NJ falls soundly in the next level of states. Definitely enough to build a "top 10" football program...heck, enough to build at least two...

But Rutsgers will probably always be Rutsgers...
