I'm holding off until after the Maui...

To give my thoughts on the direction of this team, but I wanted to share a couple things from the first 5 games.

John Ojiako has the potential to be the best traditional center in the modern era of basketball at Virginia Tech. His development is vital. It is extremely hard to get guys that big, that athletic who have as much upside as he does.

Nahiem Alleyne is the most talented offensive player the Hokies have. Yes, including Nolley.

Jalen Cone is exactly what you want in a backup PG. He will be able to carry a scoring load with a second unit on a team playing meaningful games before his career is over.

Cattoor and Radford are both players who are willing to do the dirty work to make the players above look good. It also helps they can both play offensively as well.

Nolley isn't a draft pick this year. He is a very talented shooter who has a chance to break some records for VT. Will be fun to watch him. But he has some inherent flaws to his game that are big red marks to scouts.

Depending on how the recruiting goes, filling out the roster at the 4 and 5 spot, the Hokies could do some really special things in 2021-2022 and 2022-2023.
