Agreed

I don’t understand the negativity at all. He basically finished fourth insomething resembling an NCAA bracket on steroids containing multiple all Americans, finalists and champions. Also don’t forget the foreign contingent as well. He’s not even twenty-one yet. Let’s pump the brakes on the “sloppy” and “too much man” comments. He was in every single match, and his issues were almost all technical, which shouldn’t be surprising at all, considering he’s only got less than 2 years of FS experience.

He will learn from his losses. And he WILL get better. The sky is limit with him. He may not be able to make the Olympics this cycle, but at the rate his FS skills are improving, no one in the wrestling world would be surprised if he pulled it off.

We should only be so lucky to have him on our team. Remember, Ty has many more years of experience and he ALSO placed fourth. Tommy Gannt won the tournament last year and Mekhi beat him. He beat Logan Massa, who was a two time Fargo AA and finished second and third ah the junior team trials. The Slovakian he beat was their U23 rep. His four senior losses have come to the second ranked Russian, the fifth ranked Russian, a two time NCAA champion and a dude who is a world class wrestler.

TLDR; He’ll be fiiiinnnneeee
