I ran into that applying for Real ID at DMV when my license expired in

March. I had to take several forms of ID and bills with my name - most of those had Crazy Guy's name so I had to dig deep. I got out there and one ID had my real middle initial, another had maiden name initial, another had spelled out names. They made me go to Social Security center and change everything to match my passport which was expiring a month later.

Everyone must have Real ID by next Fall to use license to enter gov't buildings and air travel or you must have your passport.
