Just to clarify, Carrie did not lose her last 5 games

Yes, she lost both games to Kentucky in the Regionals, but there's no shame in that - the Wildcats were a really good team. During those same regionals, Carrie relieved Keely against Illinois and pitched a 1-2-3 ninth to perserve the VT win.

Against NC State in the ACC tournament, we only gave her 2 runs, so it's hard to blame her for that loss. And in the two games prior to that, she pitched a 3 hit shutout versus Longwood and shut down BC in 2 games.

Not picking on you at all Techdaddy, but just wanted to clarify those end of season results. Carrie gave us her all for 3 years and her 200+ innings from last year will be hard to replace. She decided to transfer to OK State which she felt was the best decision for her, and I wish her success except for that February 13th games versus the Hokies.
