Also, it appears that VT did not offer the specific graduate major that Eberle wanted and that may have been part of the issue as well. Regardless, I believe Eberle was on a full scholarship and her departure, plus the transfer of 2 others, most likely opened the door for more financial aid to additional recruits and transfers.
