Unfortunately we left Comcast for FIOS
Had the X! platform and we are thinking about returning to Comcast. There isn't one thing on FIOS that we don't think Comcast does better. From the TV station guide, the remote, to the look of the equipment, we like Comcast better. Our neighborhood isn't wired yet for FIOS digital phone service, so that has taken a major step back - we need a wired phone for some medical equipment in the house. Verizon said digital phone service would be available in two weeks when we switched and it has been over two months, with frequent outages causing us to have to reset the equipment so that the phone line is recognized. Last rant, the FIOS remote doesn't have page up and down buttons, you must go a line at a time in the TV guide, hold the arrow key down or enter a number to jump. Don't see any difference in internet speed either. In theory, we are paying for FIOS best speeds, phone and and TV service but if this is it, we are not happy.
