The action doesn't happen frequently enough in football.
It's a stop and go game. Can't tell you the amount of times in the past 5 years I've tried to just look at other football scores or text friends to try and meet up at the game and just sit there and stare at my phone. Almost all communication is gone. People do not like that isolation anymore now that there is an alternative.
And please don't say "Well we used to go to games and not be able to talk to people for 3 hours!" That was then. Today's world is different. If VT doesn't adapt to that, they will have no one at their games. The fact they haven't addressed this problem fully is embarrassing for a technologically innovative school. It's not a new problem.
