to win 3-2. I didn't realize that late evening that the Pirates would have 20 straight losing seasons. They were so close to playing Toronto in the '92 World Series. They've never come close again even with the 3 playoff appearances during McCutchen's prime.

I remember wearing my 'City of Champions' t-shirt until it finally wore out in the mid-1980's.
