True as far as West Virginia's population....

is concerned, but WVU usually gets good TV ratings. I think they have one of the highest college football viewership percentages of any state except for Alabama. I find myself watching them more than any other team not named Virginia Tech. WVU has a good fan base and would automatically have 3 or 4 rivalry games in the ACC with Pitt, Tech, Syracuse, and Louisville.

If the ACC wants to get the most money out of their geographic footprint, they would kick out Wake Forest and NC State since UNC and Duke (just for men's basketball) are all the ACC really needs from that state. Only one state in the ACC should have more than 2 members and that state is Florida. I realize that the ACC will never kick out Wake and State, but they aren't maximizing the revenue. No Big 10 or SEC state has more than 2 members.
