Agree. The Conference Championship Game should be the Quarterfinal.

And the loser of the Championship Game would still have a bowl opportunity after that. The winner goes to the CFP.

I also think we should consolidate to 4 conferences and eliminate the need for the CFP Committee other than to seed the non CFP Bowls.
