Weaver handled it as bad as an AD possibly could. Seth didn't do himself
any favors by pissing off a lot of people in the Department (and around Town in general).
I was pretty good friends with Seth and his family. I really, really like him as a coach and a person. He's always been very Northeast-tough with his personality, and let's be honest, SWVA is the polar opposite. So it was oil and vinegar between him and some people just by their nature.
I've never liked the message board reputation he's gained over the years, because the reality is he did remarkable things for VT Bball, he embraced being a Hokie ("It's a great day to be a Hokie!"), and has been really complimentary of the school and program since he's left.
