Hokie Golf Preview - Week 40


Scott Vincent is playing on the Asian Tour this week at the Mercuries Taiwan Masters. He is currently #7 on the money list. He needs to move up a couple more spots in the next three weeks to qualify for the World Golf Championship HSBC Championships. He is T30 after round 1.

Maclain Huge is in the first round of Korn Ferry qualifying school this week at the Nebraska City, NE site. 21 golfers will advance from this site. He is currently T58, 11 spots off of the qualifying line.

This is the 2nd of 3 weeks for the first round of q school, so some players may play next week. There are also several that do not have to start until the later rounds should they choose to participate (de Jonge, Cone, Vincent, Lane). Weaver kept his card and does not need to participate.
