Couple changes I'd like to make going into the Miami game...
Let's start with the guy calling the plays - you're going to sit this next game out buddy. You've had a few chances this season and I'll try not to say this nicely... you ain't getting the job done. You need to hit the reset button. Sit back and reflect on how you can improve going forward.
QB. RW, I admire your competitiveness, and your desire to win. 'Win' is the keyword in that sentence though. You are my PG on the field, when you turn the ball over, play sloppy.. and we lose, your job security suffers. You're going to sit this out too and like the OC, reflect on how you can get better.
I have no idea who is creating this RB timeshare, but whoever it is needs to sit down with the first two guys I mentioned. From now on, we're going 80/20 in favor of King. Why he's not getting a huge lion share of the carries is beyond me. We need to be riding that guy as long as he's healthy.
Next up... Where are the TEs? We need a safety net for Hendon. I thought going into the season Keene and Mitchell were primed for a big year. HELLO??? I'm assuming one of you guys making millions can draw up a couple of plays to get the TE's involved right? I generally use youtube when I'm not exactly sure how to do something.
Tisdale. You are earning more PT every week. You are one of the few guys I noticed against Duke.. getting sideline to sideline and making plays.
The next big goal we're working towards... regain some of that defensive mentality that put us on the map in the late 90s. We need a couple dogs out there making plays and knocking some heads in the dirt.. and we need to find a QB (hopefully its Hooker or QP) that can make plays. I don't care if its running the ball, or thru the air.. but you have to make plays. When VT has been successful offensively, it's been with a QB that can make plays with their feet when everything else breaks down... and if this year is any indication, our @#%$# is going to break down often.
