I used to drive through there to VT before 66 was completed

kinda agree w/Burke, where's the city center? but a usual place to stop and get gas or fast food and of course, the northern entrance to the Shenandoah National Park.

There used to be an outdoor movie theater just before arriving in town on 55, It closed, but the sign for years was still advertising what I presume was the last movie: Boxcar Bertha. Many years later I finally rented it out of curiosity. Nice scenery. (Film was made in '72 a few years before I started heading down to VT)
