The questions and observations in earlier post are consistent with full article. The "estimates" are probably just Kagan's best guess. Also brings up an old adage that the best way to keep score is cash. The payouts that ESPN and Fox make to SEC, ACC and Big10 will probably be a better relative measure than subscriber estimates. Not really sure what the valuations of those networks actually say other than a mathematical exercise of the estimated subscribers and carriage rates to arrive at a revenue estimate and then back in to a discounted cash flow. I doubt anybody is buying the individual networks and those valuations to be of real value would be more transaction specific.
