at those numbers. Tech hasn't played any good offenses yet. Wait until they play @Miami/Notre Dame/UVA this year and then let's see the stats.

Last year through 2 games, VT held FSU to 3 and W&M to 17 pts while giving up 329yd to FSU and 266yds to W&M. Rush defense averaged 65yd/gm then. How'd the rest of the season play out?

I appreciate people's optimism with this team. I still hope they get some things figured out with this bye week and are in contention for the Coastal crown by the end of the year. However, I haven't seen a markedly better improvement over last year. When we are trying to find silver linings from a 24-17 win from Furman, expectations need to be dialed down.
