Just to balance it out, a different perspective on your observations

- Willis, the interception was just a really horrible throw on a wide open receiver. That should never happen. And it was similar to last week against ODU where he overthrew a receiver in the endzone that could have been an interception but Grimsley made an amazing acrobatic catch and had to jump very high to do so (see pic).

- Tre, good play but he was even for the day since his turnover lead to points for Furman.

- King was very good. I worry though that he was the only one who stood out on Saturday. We should have had two 100 yard rushers easy. It was Furman and their defense is not good. The running game as a whole is still very concerning.

- Defense, definitely starting to get more consistent. But the passing defense was not really tested since we played a team that likes to run twice as much as they pass. And even knowing we were playing a running team, they still managed to grind out some drives against us. I honestly would not be scared to line up against our defense right now. I don't see a lot of hard hitting or tackles that knock a RB, WR, or QB backwards. We are arm tackling, flat footed, and not good in space.

This is not to be negative because I did see some good things just like you did. But my expectations for this season have dropped drastically after watching the last two games.
