Burmeister is coming to VT in a similar manner that RW came to VT. He didn't do that well at his previous team, and hopes he can have a career renewal at VT.

I would say he would have been very far from being named the starter this year. Very far.

But that's not to say he won't be in the mix next year. Heck, it looks like absolutely every QB on the team will be in the mix next year. No one is really separating themselves from the pack.
