846 QB rushing yards is the HUGE difference...

As I have offered many times on this board, we must have a ground threat from the QB position to make up for the lack of a potent rushing attack, give us that second dimension, and keep the chains moving when the passing game is struggling. This additionally loosens up the passing game as well.

King had a nice day, but lets not get ahead of ourselves. Take away ONE big run, and we have another awful rushing day vs FURMAN. Feast or famine isnt the kind of rushing game we need. To take pressure off the QB and open up the playbook, we need a run game that can get 5-7 yards on first down, convert on 3rd and 3 with decent consistency, and run power in the redzone.

Busting a 50 yard run after being stuffed all day is not whats needed. King shows promise, but he's slightly built and its doubtful he can be that guy yet. Lets see how he holds up against Duke.

We have 2 horses on the bench right now, one of whom IS going to start in 2020. Id like to see HH or QP worked in for more series here and there.
