from other CFB fans needs to be put to bed. That might have been true decades ago but today we’re pretty much your average CFB fans. We don’t donate and expect to compete with fanbases that do. We turn on the team and coaches as soon as any adversity hits. Some people are ready to fire a coach just starting year 4 (something we would’ve mocked other fans for in the past). I think many of our fans have unreasonable expectations. And they’re the same ones that don’t donate and turn on the team after every loss. The students seem more interested in making paper airplanes during the first half and then peacing out at halftime.
