When I was in HS 2 different Rockingham Co (VA) schools

had students call in bomb threats at different times. I don't recall it ever happened at my HS, but I do think to myself "You idiots!" whenever I hear about it in the news. I believe they eventually caught the guilty parties and I think they did it because they wanted to get an early dismissal from school. Instead, the students were required to remain at the football field until the sheriff's department did a complete sweep of the building which happened to take all day.

In your case, the school probably did the right thing by sending the students home. I am sorry to hear it happened to your daughter and I hope they catch whomever is responsible for it.
