Yeah, Microsoft is footing the bill. Well, I paid for it with Windows 7

which (along with Vista and XP Media Center Edition) included it out of the box. If you meant how it was working technically, it's downloaded from the internet by WMC, not pulled in through the CableCard.

I'm not sure if it's about to end when W7 stops being supported or what.
