Grills: Pellet vs Gas What do you have?

I'm looking at getting a new grill for the new house. I'm trying to read up a bit on the differences and such and can't find important answers.

First, if you are just doing burgers for Tuesday night dinner, how long do they take to cook? Do they take 7 minutes or 25 minutes or somewhere in between?

Which fuel cost is cheaper? I was looking at some Traeger grills and their wood pellets are about $19/bag. Does a bag last as long as a tank of propane? I think that would make the wood pellets a slightly better option, and less likely to spontaneously explode.
