Oh, guilty here, like people that don't know to put oil in a car


never did it once, and have had it for oh, 15 years? It even let me down gently allowing me to get back last time w/some air in the tire.

I had already screwed up timewise, not getting an early start (still plenty of time!) and taking some questionable shortcuts. I would have only gotten in another six miles in so the paradox is that it ultimately didn't matter how much time I had, I would have only gotten in 15 miles regardless. Maybe the seat post breaking was just the bike gods levelling accounts.

Yeah, it's not like I haven't worked on bikes, just ignored it. I'll check some stuff out now, thanks.
