Seriously, I will take a close win...
I will not be thrilled at all and will be very nervous about the rest of the season, but Furman's ability to put up a lot of points is a concern. Our offense's inability to run the ball consistently could be a big factor in Furman's favor, particularly if RW is not sharp. If I am Furman's DC, my defense is stacking the line. Furman really has nothing to lose by game planning against the VT offense's real weakness.
I know this would not even be a close game historically, but this is where the program is right now.
