Watching that game, as well as every game last year...

...I see a huge improvement over the cancer ridden team we fielded last year. It's day and night different, especially on defense. And we were missing a starting D-lineman against ODU. We were also down to our 3rd string center on offense, and those guys did a good job in pass protection. Now our run blocking could improve, but at least they are doing a good job in the most important area. McClease also did a good job picking up blitzes. (Think our RBs were also a little weak in that area last year.)

Thanks to being a Cox Communications subscriber, I missed the BC game. But even with 5 turnovers, and at least a couple leading to TDs, we were poised to take that into OT. That tells me although we had a horrible day, we would probably beat BC 4 out of 5 times we played. They aren't a bad team.

Nope, I don't understand the magnitude of beeoching and moaning I saw on Sunday and Monday...after a win. We're clearly a better team this year.
