I disagree that discussions on Texas to the ACC, Big Ten, Pac-12, or SEC


is just restricted to message boards. The Austin-American Statesman did an article about the possibilities which was later referenced in a SBNation article(s). The Sports Business Journal even did an article talking about the potential next round of conference expansion (https://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/Journal/Issues/2018/12/03/In-Depth/College-sports.aspx). I am not sure what you consider Saturday Down South, but SDS explored the possibility of Texas to the SEC (https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/sec-football/big-12-eventually-falls-apart-lets-rank-teams-sec-like-add-1-10/). Also, I know Bleacher Report has done several articles on the topic. The Spun is another entity that has done at least 1 article on the topic (https://thespun.com/acc/florida-state/conference-realignment-texas-longhorns-oklahoma-florida-state-clemson-acc-network). If you did a search on Google, then I am sure you could find other articles on the topic.
