I was a student when VT entered the ACC, so I'm well aware that a lot of people were excited about the move. As I mentioned, ACC membership is infinitely better than had VT been left out in the cold when the Big East folded. However, my point was that I'm just not a fan of the ACC and its pro-North Carolina bias. Given the (unrealistic and nonexistent) choice between the ACC and the SEC, I'd choose the SEC. That's all I'm saying.

With regard to the Metro, I'm certainly aware of the history of VT's membership in that conference, which makes me even less thrilled to once again share a conference with Louisville.
