I disagree on some minor things though.

I agree on initial starting 5. Kitley will be first off bench and I expect 3 woman rotation at the 4-5 with her, Rivers and Baptiste.

On guards, I wouldn’t be shocked if King plays a lot of PG as that’s the only position that she’s ever played. I think she will be better than Mabrey by her second year and will start at point with Mabrey at SG and some PG. We basically have 3 PG’s but I think mabrey’s biggest strength is shooting so I think she plays more wing.

Guards/Wings:
Mabrey: SG if King is ready to play.
King: Mostly PG off bench. Some SG.
Cole: All PG when she’s in.
Shep: Starting SG
K. Brooks: First SG off bench
Ennis/C. Brooks: won’t play much in ACC

Forwards/Post:
Rivers/Kitley/Baptiste: will play most of minutes here in ACC.
AOF: Will play some if going against a lot of height or if Kitley not adjusting to ACC or in foul trouble.

SG Or SM Or PF: Geiman might play all over if needed due to injuries or foul trouble but I think this will be mostly a learning year for her. I think she might play more than C. Brooks or Ennis though.

This is EASILY the deepest team Brooks has had at VT. Will we be better? I don’t know. We lost two great players. I’m thinking about the same. I don’t think rivers/Kitley and Cole can replace the two we lost. Other players should be better though. If we get some bounces and the two main freshmen really come thru, we could sneak in the tourney.
