The mouse is leaving a lot of money on the table for the next 2 years. Why not cut the piece just to get in place. Would be even more leverage when the regular contract runs out.

As for Comcast, what does think is going to happen in a couple of years. What happens when The Mouse says you Comcast will buy all sports channels, all Disney programs, and all Disney movies, at this price, or you will get nothing and like it.

It's one thing to hack off a number of football fans. Quite another to hack off legions of Star Wars and Marvel fans, an all the kiddies who need their Disney fix.
