Better than last year...

That's what Kenny Brooks wants and I'd say that's what Whit Babcock is expecting.

Here's my prediction on the starting line up:
PG Taja Cole (UGA graduate transfer). An upgrade at PG. Chemistry is my only concern. The good news is that she seems very comfortable with this team. Great addition to the program.

CG Dara Mabrey moves from PG to SG, but will still play a lot of point. She's our team leader for the next 3 seasons. We'll have 2 PG's on the court which is a good thing.

SG/SF Aisha Sheppard - I expect (hope) that she finally gains 100% confidence in her game because she's talented enough to be an high quality ACC player.

SF Trinity Baptiste - I love her attitude on the court. She wants to win. I wish she were 2-3 inches taller, but she's not afraid to defend other team's PF/C's. She's not afraid to rebound. She did play PF last season, but with our new additions, I see her at SF.

PF/C I think Lydia Rivers may get the start early in the season. She may fit perfectly in Kenny's plans. Kenny brought her in to rebound. I also see true freshman Liz Kitley getting some major minutes at this position. I haven't seen Alex Abouh Fegue play, so I expecting her to come off the bench. The good news is that Kenny finally has some depth at PF/C (if they can stay healthy).

I expect Kendyl Brooks to come off the bench to replace Mabrey. Freshman Cayla King will be our third option at SG. Freshmen Taylor Geiman and Makayla Ennis will see time at SG or SF. They'll come off the bench to give Sheppard and Baptiste some rest. If Kitley can establish herself as the #1 PF/C, then Rivers can play SF (that would add depth to that position since Baptiste is pretty much it right now). I don't know what Chloe Brooks will bring to the team.

I have a feeling that Rivers and Geiman will be pleasant surprises.
