It's not, but the level of success he had was unprecedented


At least by the tourney measuring stick, which I think is an important one. He took us to 3 NCAA's in a row. The 3 NCAA appearances immediately prior to Buzz happened over almost 3 decades.

There are few Power 5 schools that have made the tourney less frequently over the last few decades.
