Hokie Golf Preview-Week 34
This is a very busy week in the golf world with 13 world counting tours in play this week and the first round of LPGA Q School starts this week as well.
Amanda Hollandsworth tees off in round one of the LPGA Q School, which is played on three different courses in Rancho Mirage, CA. There will be a 54 hole cut, but they haven't announced where the line will be yet.
Johnson Wagner and Drew Weaver are playing the second of three Korn Ferry Playoff events in Boise this week at the Albertson's Boise Open. Wagner is currently T13 in the playoff standings and only needs top 25's the last two weeks to get his PGA card back. Weaver didn't make the cut last weeks and needs a top 5 or a couple of top 10's to get his first PGA card.
Scott Vincent has moved over to the Japan Tour this week at the Shigeo Nagashima Invitational SEGASAMMY Cup in Hokkaido. He is currently 28th on their money list.
Sarit Suwannarut is back on the All Thailand Golf Tour at the Singha Championship located at the Rayong Green Valley Country Club in Rayong. There are two more tournaments after this week and he is currently 6th on their money list.
