I very much dislike all the undeserved criticism and disdain of a man that objectively did a fantastic job while he was here and because of whom we all derived considerable pleasure. It's all very dishonorable and not emblematic of proper Hokie character.

I've heard and read all the arguments about his tenure here at VT, how he left the cupboard bare and was only looking out for himself, the whole time, calling him "Brent" now, yadda, yadda, like a bunch of little kids. All undeserved as far as I can tell. The man did a good job while he was here and we were by and large very happy with the results. He's gone now, leave him be. What is there to gain by all the anonymous sniping? C'mon Hokies. Let him go. "Like your Momma said, 'If you don't have anything nice to say...' ".
