Unfortunate but not surprising. track body & track shape are


very different than football body and football shape. tremendously different forces and stresses at work.

it's similar to combine training related injuries. players spend years on their football bodies and what that entails and then they change gears within months and work on shaping their body to defeat the combine drills. the body can struggle with those transitions.

agree with another poster, this injury may end up making up his mind for him regarding which sport to commit to.
