Understand your point that he would still have to pay for internet. My IP (Suddenlink), unlike the Comcast example, does provide ACC network, so I could drop Directv if its just about ACC network. And I still might do that, but only if I can still get ALL of our games that are on other networks. That's the piece I'm still trying to figure out that I don't want to find out on game day. I don't know how ACC Network is actually going to be better for consumers, if at all, or even worse. With Directv + internet streaming capability, I have so far been able to get them all, so I am reluctant to drop it until I have run them in parallel for a while to see how it works out overall.

Directv subscription plus internet only might be an option for someone with a TV/internet package as high as $165 a month and still not able to see our games.
