Re. the saga of the missing vaccination record from yesterday
Finally heard back from the Dr. office who said all the vaccinations were completed, but they admitted the form wasn't filled out quite right. If you read it over very carefully, you could figure out the Hep B vaccine was there. But if you just glanced at it, you'd miss it.
It never was an issue before because daughter went to a very small elementary and middle school, so the admin was willing to take the extra time to take care of every student. But she's entering a large high school now, so the person reviewing 200+ medical records isn't going over every one with a fine tooth comb.
Records and an explanation were sent to the school late last night, and all's good.
Being forced to miss the first few days at a new school would suck. Things like where you sit in each class and which lunch table you go to tend to get established in the first day or two. Glad that didn't have to happen.
