Went the same route about a year or so ago...


....bought my own modem/router , cut cord on Comcast cable tv , kept their internet , went with a Fire stick and Sling/Hulu depending on channels I wanted. Gave committed to Hulu for ACC / locals. Hulu $45/mo. - internet $50/mo. Supplement with OTA antenna to get uncompressed HD for local ABC/ CBS sports content.
