Haz sat out a year. It was the best move for him. Everyone wins but Ball State. The one year rule at least gives the Ball States of the world (Or even a VT) some protection when a bigger program has a roster spot they need help in. Free agency is awful for college football.
But regardless of where you land in that debate, the real issue is the corruption of the NCAA and how they do not play fair ball with the blue bloods.
Personal opinion is that its reasonable for Hoffman to sit a year but since the NCAA let all these other so called hardship cases play immediately, they damn well better let Hoffman
