That has been the statement for several years, yet still a major weakness


I believe strongly that to win consistently you must be able to control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. QBs that are under quick pressure and RBs that have to avoid a tackler in the first couple steps will not be consistently successful. Help the D by not going 3 and out and letting them rest, that happens when the O gets positive yards on every play, because the line gets a surge on every play.

If you look at the last 8 years, our offense has struggled with consistency. Last year they scored a lot and put up yards, but way too many 3 and outs which put even more pressure on a struggling defense.
