I bought a touring bike last year and was seriously considering the 520.

However the downgrade on groupset and the lack of bar end shifters turned me off. I bought a Kona Sutra and it is an awesome bike. I commute daily on it and rode it from Richmond to Blacksburg fully loaded. It handles really well loaded up.
