World swimming championships
FYI, the World Championships that ended Sunday in South Korea, had two Hokies participating. Antani Ivanov, rising sophomore, representing Bulgaria, swam the 100 and 200 butterfly. He just missed finals in the 200 by getting out touched in a swim off for 8th position. Ian Ho, from Blacksburg and a recent two time graduate from VT, represented Hong Kong and swam the 50 and 100 free and two relays. Congrats to both. The big star, Caeleb Dressel, USA, won 6 golds and two silvers. Dressel is from Florida and had a very strong Senior/high school coach. The coach's first name is Sergio. He works for VT, he's pretty good.
