Thought I’d heard that scholarship football players

cannot work for money at all. If they do, they have to give back an equivalent amount of scholarship money back. (Who would do that?) as I understood this rule, it is to prevent boosters overpaying players for little work and it is the only way to do that. If anyone knows the rules I would like to hear the facts.
